WEBP to SVG

Traces your WEBP into vector shapes and saves an SVG.

What this does

This decodes the pixels in your WEBP and traces them into an SVG. The tool walks the decoded bitmap, groups neighbouring pixels of similar color into regions, and outlines each region with a vector path. What you get back is a new file built from colored shapes, not the WEBP bytes re-wrapped inside an SVG container.

Tracing is an approximation, not a true conversion to vectors. WEBP made from flat-color art — logos, icons, badges, line work — traces cleanly and then scales to any size without softening. WEBP saved from a photo or a gradient breaks into a mosaic of polygons that only loosely follows the original. Both lossy and lossless WEBP are accepted, and any transparency in the WEBP is carried through as transparent areas in the SVG.

How it works

  1. 1Drop your WEBP images.
  2. 2Each one is decoded and traced into an SVG made of colored polygons.
  3. 3Download each result, or grab them all as a zip.
