Crop Video
Drag a box over the frame to cut the video down to that region, then re-encode to MP4.
What this does
Crop Video cuts a video down to a rectangular region you draw on the frame. Load a file, drag a box over the part you want to keep, and the tool re-encodes just that region into a new MP4. Everything runs in your browser — the video is never uploaded.
Cropping changes the frame dimensions, so the video has to be re-encoded rather than copied. This tool encodes to H.264, which is lossless-free (it re-compresses the picture) but produces a standard MP4 that plays everywhere. Crop dimensions are snapped to even numbers because H.264 requires an even width and height.
How it works
- 1Drop your video or pick it. It loads straight in your browser.
- 2Drag a box over the frame and pull its handles until it covers the region you want to keep.
- 3Click Crop video and download the new MP4.
